These tubs tend to come in five main styles:
Double Ended Tubs - These types of free standing clawfooted tubs feature both ends that are rounded. Some have noticed that the original style has one end rounded and the other appears more flat. Classic Flat Rim or Roll Rim Tub - The sides of the rim on these clawfooted freestanding bathtubs bend round to create a roll in the roll rim. The flat rim style is a rim that is flat and is usually used with pedestral tubs. Double Slipper Tubs - This style of slipper bath is when the ends are sloped and raised. Slipper Tubs - In this style one end of the slipper foot tubs is sloped and raised to create a lying postiion for a more comfortable bathing experience. Clawfooted tubs and bathtubs including slipper bath and free
standing tubs, can be made in cast iron for a more original feel
but are usually made in acrylic which is more lightweight, sturdier
